Channel 18

Liberty Public Schools is fortunate to have its own cable television channel dedicated solely for district use. Thanks to the City of Liberty and Time Warner Cable, KLPS-TV telecasts on Cable Channel 18 throughout the entire Liberty School District. Programming includes Liberty Public Schools' events, board meetings, district shows, weekly athletic press conferences, daily news shows, and much more.

In July 2010, Liberty Public Schools entered into a contract with local company Niles Media Group.  This well-respected organization provides professional staff and opportunties for our students, while also being responsible for content produced on KLPS.  Niles Media Group is known throughout the region and country for broadcasting excellence and also have contracts with the Missouri Valley Conference, the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and the American Sports Network, to name a few.  You can find out more about Niles Media Group by visiting their website,  LPS is fortunate to have a tremendous local service provider in Niles Media Group.
